PET NAME. FLOYD.
This is our boy. He came to us in November 2006 from Virginia, where he was described as “The smoothest, all natural running walk in the State of Virginia”
He is the most adorable horse we have ever known, he almost talks to you, and his temperament is fantastic. He is 100% trustworthy in and out of the stable, and is a dream to ride. Earlier this year we took him to a local show, not really to enter him in anything, but just to see how he behaved. His manners were impeccable and people were so interested in him, they were queuing up to ask questions, look at the pictures, we even put a child on his back. He loved the fuss. Then later on in the year we took him to a Morgan and Saddle bred show and entered him in three ridden classes, he came away with a first, a second, and a fourth ribbon, also a qualifier to enter him in the London Show. He made us proud.
Floyd is Homozygous, so his babies will be coloured, so we can’t wait to see his first baby to be born in England next June. Our Blue Roan Mare Blossom was scanned in foal on 19/07/07.
